Don’t Drag on, Fly!

Beautiful photo!! Enlightening words!!

A Sliver of Life

Quivering wings spread,
contemplate heavens above,
unleash your ethos!

Elucidation:
The lifecycle of Dragonflies consists of three stages: egg, nymph and adult. The dragonfly spends most of its life in its aquatic nymph form, living in fresh water ponds and placid spots in streams. Depending upon the species and climate of the region, the nymph stage may last up to 4 years whereas the adult form – the winged dragonfly that we are familiar with – may live for only about 2 to 4 months.

Thus nothing embodies the spirit of living life in the present, unconstrained, unselfconscious, and to the fullest, more than the hovering, soaring, gliding dragonfly! Somewhere inside it, is encoded the destiny that it will eventually fulfill; but nothing can prevent it from wanting to touch the sky…
